​Zagreb Advent voted third best world Christmas fair

Zagreb Advent has been voted the third best Christmas market among 50 fairs around the world by the Big 7 Travel web portal. The Christkindlmarkt-Leavenworth in Washington, USA was voted first, followed by Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham, England.

Big 7 Travel advertises various destinations, restaurants, hotels and other travel content and this year's selection of 50 finalists for the title of best Christmas market has been carried by some of the media partners of the portal, which has about 2.5 million followers on several social networks in 192 countries. 

The Vienna Village Belvedere Palace fair was voted the fourth best Christmas market, while the Stellenbosch Slow Market in South Africa was voted fifth.

The top ten Christmas destinations this year include Cusco (Peru), Chicago (USA), Manchester (England), Aachen (Germany) and Toronto (Canada).
