Revenues from foreign tourists who visited Croatia in the first half of 2024 reached €4.13 billion, which is €288.3 million or 7.5% more than in the same period in 2023, the Ministry of Tourism and Sport said on Monday citing the data from the Croatian National Bank.

In the second quarter of the year, revenues from foreign tourists totalled €3.32 billion, which was €138.6 million or 4.36% more than in the same period in 2023.

"We are pleased that the financial indicators also confirm that we are becoming a year-round destination, because after another record pre-season in terms of tourist results, we now also have record revenues from foreign tourists. This shows that the reform we are implementing is already having concrete effects, and by entering the new era of tourism management development, we expect an even stronger growth of Croatian tourism," Minister of Tourism and Sport Tonči Glavina said.
