Virtuoso includes Croatia among top five global travel destinations for 2020

Virtuoso, a US association of travel agencies specialising in luxury and experiential travel, has included Croatia among the top five world destinations for 2020, the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) said on Tuesday.

Croatia ranked first in the category of emerging destinations, ahead of Antarctica, Iceland, Japan and Portugal. It placed third in the Top Millennial Destinations category, behind Greece and Bali and ahead of Iceland and Cambodia. It was fifth in the "Top Global Destinations" category, behind Italy, Greece, France and Japan.

Virtuoso describes itself as "the leading global network of agencies specializing in luxury and experiential travel, with more than 20,000 advisors."

"We partner with over 1,800 of the world’s best companies such as hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and more.
