Two Specialized Fairs Open in Zagreb

Two international specialized fairs - the Sport and Boat Show and the Hotel and Gastronomy Fair - opened at Zagreb's Trade Fair Centre on Wednesday, featuring some 640 exhibitors from Croatia and 30 other countries.

The shows were opened by the Minister of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development, Božidar Kalmeta, who said that events like these were important for countries such as Croatia where tourism was one of the main branches of the economy.

The shows close this weekend.
