After holding talks with the German TUI tour operator at Croatia's stand at the ITB Berlin Convention, Croatian Tourism Minister Damir Bajs said on Thursday that the biggest German tour operator would bring tourists to Croatia from March to November, which would be the longest period so far.

What has been invested in cooperation with TUI is already paying off, the minister said, adding that this travel group is offering travel arrangements for Croatia at nearly 8,000 sales points. It is also advertising Croatia under the slogan "New Quality in an Old Destination", according to the Croatian minister. Bajs also held talks with low-tariff air companies Air Berlin and Germanwings. Germanwings deputy CEO Ognjen Zeric announced a 10-20 percent increase in the company's passenger transport. During the ITB fair, Bajs received an award from the Travel Writers' Association (PATWA) for Croatia as a destination offering the best cultural and historical heritage and experience. (Hina
