This year's first direct charter plane from Japan arrives in Zagreb

The first direct charter plane from Osaka, Japan, to Croatia in this season landed in Zagreb on Thursday.
According to the Zagreb tourist board the flight had 350 passengers and crew members aboard and it was organized by the Japanese Hankyu travel agency.

The number of Japanese tourists visiting Croatia is constantly growing during the last several years. In 2008 the arrival of Japanese tourists rose by 66 percent to 144,000, compared to the year before. They generated 202,000 overnight stays, up 54 percent from 2007.
