Symposium on Cultural Tourism Held in Dubrovnik

The international symposium "Cultural Tourism: Economic Benefit or Loss of Identity" was held in Dubrovnik on Thursday.

The event was organized by the European Association of Historic Towns and Regions and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.

The meeting was addressed, among others, by the head of the European Association of Historic Towns and Regions, Louis Roppe, the mayor of the Austrian town of Innsbruck, Hilde Zack, and Dubrovnik Mayor Dubravka Šuica.

The meeting discussed ways of investing into cultural heritage and earning tourism revenue without losing identity and diversity.
