Sea water at Croatian beaches excellent for swimming
The results of the first sea water quality tests undertaken this season show that the water at 1,144 beaches along the Croatian Adriatic coast is of excellent quality, bathing conditions are good at 16 beaches and satisfactory at nine beaches, Croatia's Ministry of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning and Construction, said on Tuesday. Testing was conducted from 1 to 29 May. The results are available on the ministry's website at www.mzopu.hr. The testing of sea bathing water quality is conducted throughout the summer season.
