Rijeka expects over 10,00 revellers in carnival march on Sunday

The main carnival parade in Rijeka, which will be held on 2 March, the last Sunday before Ash Wednesday this year, will bring together some 10,200 masked participants who will walk through the centre of this Croatian seaport.

As many as 117 groups have confirmed their attendance, the local authorities reported on Wednesday.

Apart from participants from Croatia, there will also be guests from Italy, Bolivia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary.
