Numerous flights from France to Croatia in July

With the start of July numerous airlines have reintroduced flights to Croatia from various European countries including France, with flights from Paris, Lyon and Nantes to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik which starting as of July 3, the National Tourist Board (HTZ) said on Friday.

The first flights between France and Croatia have been announced by the national flag carrier Croatia Airlines, announcing two flights between Paris and Zagreb each week on Fridays and Sundays.

As of July 11, flights connecting Split and Paris will operate every Saturday, HTZ said.

Air France plans to reintroduce flights from Paris to Zagreb and from Paris to Dubrovnik as of July 4, and as of July 13 Air France will fly to Split too.

The Transavia airline has also announced flights to Croatia in July, with departures from Paris to Split and Dubrovnik as well as flights from Nantes to Dubrovnik, while EasyJet has announced flights from Paris  to Split and Dubrovnik.

"A destination's safety, epidemiological measures taken and access to information regarding entry into the country have become the key criteria to choose where to spend vacations, which is why France has currently shown such a great interest in Croatia," HTZ director Kristjan Stanicic said.

He said there was a growing trend for bookings for Croatia with numerous French travel operators like Fram/Promovacance, Travel Europe, Top of Travel, Ovoyages and Voyamar.
