Ministry allocates funds to boost cycling tourism in continental Croatia

The Tourism Ministry's public call for applications for cycling tourism development in continental Croatia is open until 13 March, and a total of five million kuna has been set aside for this purpose.

The ministry is prepared to cover up to 90% of the eligible costs in cycling tourism-related projects in 14 counties.

The minimum amount of the subsidy under this scheme is 100,000 kuna and the maximum amount that can be allocated is 500,000 kuna.

Minister Gari Cappelli was quoted as saying that this government undertakes to ensure balanced destination development by extending the tourist season throughout the year. (EUR 1 = HRK 7.4)
