Minister Bajs expects results of this year's tourist season to be as last year's or slightly lower
The government commission coordinating and monitoring tourism-related activities in Croatia said on Saturday it expected the results of this year"s tourist season to be the same as last year"s or slightly lower. "We hope to achieve results that will be the same as last year"s or slightly lower, which, considering the present global economic situation, would be a success," Tourism Minister Damir Bajs said. Bajs also said that this year most tourists were staying in camps and in private accommodation, while the number of those staying in hotels was lower than last year.
