The Zagreb Tourist Board has presented, in cooperation with the Croatian Embassy in Pris and the Croatian Tourist Board, a special 145-page edition of Michelin's weekend guide Le Guide Vert for the Zagreb area, the Zagreb Tourist Board has said.

This is the first such edition dedicated to Croatia's capital, also covering Varazdin, Samobor and the Hrvatsko Zagorje region in northern Croatia.

The guide will be available in all major libraries in France. Zagreb is the first city in Croatia with its own Le Guide Vert guide, joining Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, Florence, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Milan, New York and others.

The launch at the Croatian Embassy was attended by 70 representatives of travel agents and journalists.

In 2015, 26,773 French tourists visited Zagreb, up 5% on the year, generating 49,270 nights (+9%). They were among the most numerous foreign tourists visiting the capital.
