​Korcula first island student town in Croatia

Korcula and Dubrovnik University are in the process of signing an agreement on cooperation under which students can study in Korcula as the town will be able to offer dislocated undergraduate programmes in nautical studies, marine engineering, and business economics with tourism as a field of study. This will make Korcula the first island student town in Croatia.

According to a press release issued by Korcula authorities, this town on the southern Adriatic island which bears the same name will be a satellite campus of the University of Dubrovnik.

This is entirely in accordance with the Korcula Town Development Strategy 2016-2020, which is aimed at achieving a higher level of education on Croatian islands, the press release said.
 
The cooperation between the town of Korcula and the University of Dubrovnik will begin in the 2020/2021 academic year. (Hina)
