July 2006: Tourist Arrivals in Zagreb 20.5 % up From July 2005

The Croatian capital Zagreb was visited by 326,811 tourists who accounted for 565,155 overnight stays in this year's first seven months, the Zagreb Zoning Institute Statistics Department reported on Tuesday.

Tourist arrivals increased by 8.5% and overnight stays by 10.7% in relation to the same period last year.

In July alone, tourist arrivals in Zagreb were 20.5% higher than in the same month last year, with 66,561 registered arrivals and 118,697 overnight stays, which is a 30.2% increase in relation to July last year.
