Joint Croatian-Montenegrin project launched to promote adventure tourism

The IPA cross-border project "Business Cooperation and Skills Improvement for the Development of Outdoor Tourism" was presented in Dubrovnik on Friday.

The project will be implemented by June 2012 by the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) in cooperation with the Montenegrin environmental NGO Sunce, the Centre for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives and the UNDP Montenegro.

Twenty-five guides specialised in adventure tourism will be trained as part of the project worth EUR 387,257, of which EUR 322,609 will be provided by the EU. (Hina)
