A delegation of the German parliamentary tourism committee headed by chairman Klaus Braehmig on Thursday met with Croatian Tourism Minister Veljko Ostojic and then visited the Croatian Sabor and members of its Tourism Committee to discuss tourism and economic cooperation between Germany and Croatia.

The German delegation is visiting Croatia on 10-13 October and apart from Zagreb it will meet with people from the tourist sector in Opatija, Rovinj and Pula.

According to a press release by the Croatian Tourism Ministry, Braehmig said that Germany would continue to support Croatia's tourism because the country was a true European jewel, stressing that it was important to invest in security and environment protection, as these make a difference.
