First Croatian diving congress held in Zagreb

Over 400 participants from Croatia and abroad took part in the two-day congress of diving which was held on the compounds of the Zagreb Fair on 22-23 February. The organisers of the event - the Agencija Promocija Ronjenje - say in a press release that diving had become some of the most important activities to attract more tourists in the country.

The congress discussed several topic in relation to diving, including the legislative framework, health aspects of this sport which can also be a  recreational pasttime, cave diving, ecology, and so on.

Diving is an internationally recognized sport that is part of the Olympic Games.
