European Tourism Ministers’ Conference in Vienna

Tourism – Key to Growth and Employment in Europe is the main topic at the European tourism ministers' conference which is held on 20 – 21 March in Vienna.

The event was organized by Austria and Finland in cooperation with the European Commission. The Conference will bring together tourism ministers from the EU-25, the candidate countries, EFTA/EEA and West Balkan states, representatives from international and European organizations and the tourism industry.

Croatia will be presented by the State Secretary for Tourism Zdenko Mičić and the Assistant Minister Želimir Kramarić.

The 1st day is dedicated to topics of information and communication technologies within tourism as well as the partnership between tourism and culture. The 2nd day includes the presentation of innovative European tourist projects in.

The participants of the conference will be also addressed by Günter Verheugen, Vice president of the European Commission.
