Three million tourist nights were already registered in Dubrovnik in 2024, which is two weeks earlier than in 2023, and so far this year, tourist nights increased 10% compared to the same period in 2023, the authorities in this Adriatic resort reported on Tuesday.

The statistical figures confirm Dubrovnik's status as one of the main Croatian tourist destinations, and the authorities say the such success was achieved due to the implementation of the planned policies and strategies for the local tourism industry.

According to the e-visitor registration system, from 1 January to 24 August 2024, slightly more than three million travellers visited Dubrovnik.

The local authorities say that a double-digit rise in overnight stays was achieved on the back of an increase in the shoulder season.
