'Days of Croatian Tourism 2005' in Cavtat, 26-28 October

The annual meeting of tourist employees 'Days of Croatian Tourism', organized by the Croatian National Tourist Board (Hrvatska turistička zajednica – HTZ) for the fourth year in a row, will take place in October from the 26th till 28th, in Cavtat.

This, so to say, traditional 'national  tourist congress', is organized under the aegis of the Croatian President, the Croatian Government and the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development, and more than 500 participants are expected to arrive.

Besides analyzing the outstanding results of this year's tourist season, there will be organized working meetings of professional tourist associations, as well as the meeting of the Tourist Board of the HTZ.

Besides presenting the results of this year's season, that meeting will serve to define a program proposal for the activities of HTZ throughout the following year.

On Friday, the last day of the meeting, the representatives of the tourist employees will meet with the representatives of the Croatian Government, to discuss the topic 'Tourist years 2005 and 2006'.

In the evening, the prizes Blue and Green Flower 2005 will be awarded as part of the HTZ campaign 'I Love Croatia' (i.e. the election of the tidiest tourist place/resort throughout the coastal and continental parts of Croatia). The ‘tourist employee of the year 2005’ will also be selected and awarded.
