Croatian Tourism Presented in Vilnius, Riga

The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) and the Croatian Embassy in Sweden, which also covers Lithuania and Latvia, organized a presentation of Croatia in Vilnius and Riga on Thursday and Friday.

About 16,000 tourists from Lithuania and about 8,000 from Latvia vacationed in Croatia last year.

Tourist agencies from the two countries pointed to the poor transport connections between Baltic countries and destinations in Croatia.

Several charter flights will connect Vilnius and Riga with destinations on the Adriatic coast this summer, said Dario Matošević, head of the HTZ Office in Scandinavia. (Hina)
