Croatian tourism minister discusses cooperation with Irish counterpart

During his official visit to Ireland, Croatian Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin held talks with Irish Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Leo Varadkar about advancing the two countries' tourist cooperation, the Croatian Tourism Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

Lorencin also held talks with Chief Commercial Officer of the Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus Stephen Kavanagh who expressed satisfaction with cooperation with Croatian partners and expressed interest in further expansion of flights to Croatia, notably to the northern Adriatic. He underscored that Croatia had an image of a good tourist destination in Ireland.

Addressing the Irish press, Lorencin presented Croatia's tourist services, noting that in the first six months of this year Croatia had recorded a 35% increase in the arrivals of Irish tourists. (Hina)
