Croatia's tourism revenue 2.28 bln euro in H1

Revenue from tourism in the first half of this year amounted to 2.28 billion euro which is a growth of 7.5% or by 159 million euro compared with the corresponding period last year, according to the Croatian National Bank's (HNB) data released by the Ministry of Tourism on Thursday.

Revenue from personal travel grew by 150 million euro or 7.4% to 2.17 billion euro. Revenue from business travel amounted to 111 million euro or a 8.6% increase on the year or 9 million euro more.

Revenue in the second quarter amounted to 1.94 billion euro which on the year was an increase of 6.4% or by 116 million euro.
