Croatia registers 90 million commercial bed nights in 2022

Last year, Croatia registered 17.7 million tourist arrivals and over 90 million bed nights in commercial accommodation, which are increases of 39% and 28.3% respectively compared with 2021, according to the data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).

The number of foreign tourists staying in commercial accommodation increased by 44% to 15.3 million. They generated 82.3 million bed nights, which was  an increase of 31% compared with 2021.

The number of domestic tourists staying in commercial accommodation increased by 15.1% to 2.4 million and the number of their bed nights rose by 5.4% to 7.7 million.
