Croatia popular destination for German tourists travelling by car

Croatia is among the favorite travel destinations of motorized German tourists, according to figures released by the German auto club ADAC.

Germany, which with 46 percent is the most popular destination for German tourists travelling by car, is followed by Italy (17 pct), France (6.2 pct), Austria (5.3 pct) and Croatia (3.6 pct)

This is slightly down from last year when the number of ADAC members planning to spend their summer vacation in Croatia amounted to 3.7 percent.

According to the survey, other popular destinations are Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and Poland. (Hina)
