The workshop in Moscow brought together 180 Russian partners and media representatives whom Ivicic told he hoped Croatia would be a desired destination for Russian tourists this year as well.

He said Croatia this year would simplify the visa procedure and introduce multiple-entry visas that would last six months so as to facilitate the arrival of Russian tourists.

Last year, some 165,000 Russian tourists vacationed in Croatia and recorded 1.36 million overnights, down 22% from 2012 when approximately 200,000 Russians visited Croatia.
