Germany is the most important market for Croatia Airlines (CA) and the Croatian flag carrier has the highest number of flights to that country, CA management board chair Jasmin Bajić said in Berlin on Tuesday.

CA is one of the exhibitors at Croatia's stand within the ITB travel fair in Berlin. The ITB fair kicked off today and will run through 7 March.

The Croatia Airlines air company and the Jadrolinija shipping company are regular exhibitors at ITB Berlin.

Bajić told Hina today in Berlin that during this year's summer schedule, CA will offer two million seats on its flights, or 6% more than during the summer season of 2023.

Bajić pointed out the cooperation of CA and Turkish Airlines, which resulted in Split-Istanbul flights in summer. Also, as of May, there will be flights from Zagreb to Berlin, Tirana and Stockholm.

CA will fly to Tirana twice a week, and offer three flights a week from Zagreb to Berlin and to Stockholm.

The company will also provide flights between Zagreb and another 15 European destinations.

CA also operates flights from Split, Dubrovnik and Rijeka to foreign destinations.
