The Jadran hotel company plans to renovate the Hotel International in the northern Adriatic town of Crikvenica, and the total value of the project is €22 million, of which €6.6 million would be allocated from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The work is expected to start by the end of this year and be completed by the summer of 2025, Jadran Management Board member Miroslav Pelko said on Wednesday.

He said that the hotel would be modernised to the highest environmental standards and would use renewable energy sources with very low greenhouse gas emissions.

Pelko said he was confident that the renovated hotel would increase the quality of tourism services in the Crikvenica area and would make a considerable contribution to the development of sustainable tourism in Croatia.
