Camping this year so far with mild negative results

Since Croatia's camping season opened until mid-August about the same number of bed nights has been recorded as for last year with the pre-season until May 31 being a little better and the peak season between 1 June to 11 August being a little weaker than last year mostly due to fewer German campers, the Croatian Camping Association (KUH) reported this week.

KUH Director Adriano Palman told Hina that a satisfactory result this year would mean equalling the record numbers achieved last year.

It is difficult to forecast but in general 65-70% of the results are realised mid-August, he said and this week the situation has improved compared to the previous few weeks. (Hina)
