Business conference on tourism held in Umag

"The development of Istria's Tourist Product: EU Prospects and Challenges" is the topic of a business conference held in the northern Adriatic town of Umag on Friday.

The conference was attended by experts who spoke about the importance of directions of the tourist development of Croatia and Istria, as one of the leading Mediterranean destinations. The event, organized by Istria County and Zagrebacka Banka, was opened by Croatian President Ivo Josipovic.

The conference was also addressed by the head of the Delegation of the European Union to Croatia, Ambassador Paul Vandoren. (Hina)
