Croatia's Tourism and Sport Minister Nikolina Brnjac and the Bavarian State Minister for European and International Affairs, Melania Huml, on Tuesday held talks on Croatia's preparations for the tourist season and the "Stay Safe in Croatia" programme.

During their meeting in Munich, the two officials also discussed EU-related topics such as Croatia's aspirations to enter the Schengen area in 2022.

Minister Brnjac also met representatives of the State Association of Bavarian Bus Companies (LBO), for talks on bus transport.

She noted that 6.4% of visitors to Croatia travelled by bus to their destinations. The LBO association, founded in 1946 in Munich, currently represents the interests of more than 1,100 private bus companies.
