Belgian TV station, Vogue Paris praise Croatia as ideal summer destination

The Belgian VTM channel and the French edition of Vogue magazine "Vogue Paris" have recommended Croatia as an ideal summer destination, the Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) said on Wednesday.

The commercial VTM TV channel on Tuesday broadcast a two-minute clip in which Croatia was described as as "corona-free" destination, the HTZ said.

Apart from Croatia, also Greece and Portugal were mentioned as the countries that were handling well the COVID-19-related situation.

A former Genk footballer, Croatian Frane Bucan, was quoted as saying that Croatia has been excellent in the organisation of the response to the epidemic.

He praised the Croatians for excellent discipline in implementing the measures to curb COVID-19.

The Facebook profile of the Vogue Paris has published a photo of "Kolovare" swimming pool in Zadar with the comment "a sunny afternoon in Croatia sounds ideal rights now".
