Adventure tourism can help central Dalmatia extend the peak season notably for guests who want more than sunbathing and swimming, it was said at a conference on adventure tourism in central Dalmatia, held in Split this past week. Thus, two protected climbing routes, each 300 metres long, will be included in the attractions. One of them is in the town of Omis and the other one is on Perun Hill overlooking the village of Strozanac.

The central Dalmatian and Dalmatian hinterland destinations also boast hiking routes up Marjan Hill above Split, canyoning, and rafting tours.
