CNN includes Croatia among top 4 destinations for culinary delights "If you're planning the trip of a lifetime, why not plan one that incorporates some of the best food you will ever dine on?" CNN says in its tourist guide and offers four suggestions for vacations, including Croatia, that emphasize culinary delights. Alongside the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia, CNN recommends Andalusia in Spain, Patagonia in Chile and Burgundy in France. According to the CNN, the trip "A Taste of Croatia" costs US$ 3,990 per person for 12 days.

International Tourism: Recovery Confirmed, but Growth Remains UnevenInternational tourist arrivals grew by 7% in the first four months of 2010 according to the latest issue of the UNWTO World Tourism Barometer. This growth confirms the recovery trend beginning in the last quarter of 2009 and comes despite the challenging conditions of recent months. While April’s results were affected by the week-long closure of European airspace, globally the pace of recovery is faster than initially expected, driven largely by emerging markets. For the full year 2010, UNWTO forecasts international tourist arrivals to grow by 3% to 4%.

Croatia ranked 2nd in Europe in campsite nights' share in all nights While the number of nights spent on campsites in the EU27 account for an average 15 per cent of nights in tourist accommodation, in Croatia they account for 34.6 per cent of all nights, ranking Croatia second among EU27, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, Eurostat said on Friday. In the European Union, the number of nights spent on campsites accounts for the highest number of all nights in Denmark (43 per cent) and the lowest in Poland (one per cent). There were 26,000 camps with accommodation for some 10 million people in the EU in 2008, logging 354 million nights.

They are staying at the "Villa Dubrovnik" hotel that was reopened a few days ago after renovation. On Wednesday afternoon, the couple took a walk in the Stradun, the main street of the city's mediaeval centre, and visited historic buildings there.
