A convention of tourism professionals - Croatian Tourism Days (DHT) - will be held in the Istrian city of Porec on 13-14 October, and the event is expected to bring together more than a thousand participants, the Tourism Ministry said this past Wednesday.
The convention is being organised jointly by the ministry, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) and the Croatian National Tourism Board (HTZ) with the aim of reviewing and analysing this year's tourism season and activities for the coming 2016 season.
An action plan for the development of special tourism forms based on the Tourism Development Strategy until 2020 will be outlined and talks will be conducted on the topic of sharing economy.
