Croatian tourism presentations in March at major fairs

The Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) is to promote Croatia's tourism in March at five international tourist fairs, the first being the ITB in Berlin, the largest world tourist exchange/business fair, the HTZ reported on Monday.

The ITB in Berlin is important for Croatia and is a venue for numerous tourism companies and other tourism experts to learn of the latest trends and outlooks ahead of the following tourism season.

Apart from the HTZ, Croatia's tourism presentation at ITB will involve about 30 presenters and on March 6 a press conference has been scheduled to present the latest in Croatian tourism and it is important to win the favour of German tourists who are the world's greatest travellers.

Apart from HTZ Director Meri Matesic and the director for Germany's HTZ branch, Tourism Minister Veljko Ostojic will visit ITB with his associates.

The HTZ will then proceed to promote Croatia's tourism at fairs in Moscow, Paris, Goetheborg, and Kiev.
