Croatian tourism minister, British ambassador discuss cooperation

Croatian Tourism Minister Veljko Ostojic on Tuesday held talks with British Ambassador to Croatia David Arthur Slinn about future cooperation between Great Britain and Croatia in tourism, potential investments in tourist projects and increasing tourist exchange between two two countries, the Croatian Tourism Ministry said in a statement.

Ostojic and Slinn stressed that the number of British tourists in the first seven months of this year increased by 25 percent compared to last year and that a British investor was interested in purchasing the stocks of the ZRC Lipik company. The Croatian minister said this was a good foundation for even better relations in the future.

He also informed the British ambassador of possibilities for greenfield and brownfield investments in Croatia. (Hina)
