Croatia and Slovenia together promote their tourism services in China

Croatia and Slovenia will present together their tourist sectors in Beijing and Shanghai next week, hoping to attract more Chinese tourists, who in 2009 were the fourth biggest tourist spenders in the world, with US 43.5 billion. This was stated at a news conference held at the Croatian Tourism Ministry on Friday by the leading people of the Croatian and Slovenian tourism sectors. The presentations to be held in Beijing and Shanghai on May 25 and 27 will include business workshops organized by Croatian and Slovenian travel agencies and their Chinese partners, meetings with Chinese officials, and dinners. The Shanghai presentation will coincide with the international tourism fair in that city (held on May 27-29) and the already opened World Exhibition EXPO.
