The 14th edition of the DOBRO World Cup Osijek gymnastics event will take place in Osijek from 5 to 11 June, together with events such as the Feelgood Weekend, a festival of gastronomy, wine and music, the organisers announced this week.
The Gymnastics Society Žito Osijek, the City and the County, and the Croatian Gymnastics Federation are doing a fantastic job, State Secretary at Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Josip Pavić, said at the press conference.
Osijek-Baranja County has been declared the European Region of Sport for 2024, which we are extremely proud of, said Josip Miletić, Deputy Prefect of Osijek-Baranja County.
Osijek Mayor Ivan Radić said there was a great interest in the DOBRO World Cup, adding that the world's best gymnasts were coming to Osijek, as well as many tourists.
This year, we are one of the official competitions of the International Gymnastics Federation's (FIG) World Cup series, said Vladimir Mađarević, the director of the competition, adding that over 30 countries have already applied.
