The Promohotel International Fair of Food, Drinks and Equipment for Tourism opened in Poreč, Istria County on Wednesday, bringing together 160 exhibitors from Croatia and neighbouring countries who will showcase more than 500 world hospitality brands through to Saturday.
The fair is primarily aimed at hotel owners and managers, private renters, bar and restaurant owners as well as everyone else preparing for the coming tourist season, fair director Ivana Štiković said.
Poreč Mayor Loris Peršurić said he was pleased that as an international fair, Promohotel had paved the way for almost 40 years to other fairs and proved that Poreč could organise big fairs well.
