Croatia's tourist trade is set to rise 5% this year, says minister

The turnover in the tourist industry so far this year has increased 7% to 8% and considering fiscalisation data, it is estimated that this tourism year will end with financial results higher by 5% compared to last year, Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli said on Wednesday.

"We expect this year's tourist trade with regard to physical and financial results to be better than last year and with a record high, which means that tourism has done a great job in all segments even though there was plenty of criticism, particularly in July," Cappelli said in Zagreb.
