Place2Go tourism fair opens in Zagreb

The international fair called Place2Go opened in Zagreb's Arena Hall on Friday, bringing together 200 exhibitors from Croatia and 20 countries worldwide that will promote their destination until 17 March. The partner-country for this year's edition is North Macedonia which has a fast-growing tourist industry. Also, Sudan, Ghana and Tanzania are being promoted at the show for the first time.

In attendance at the opening ceremony were Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli, who announced preparations for first direct flight service from the USA to Croatia, and U.S. Ambassador Robert Kohorst.
