Pursuant to a decision of the Board of Supervision of 30 October 2001, the Board of Management issues an

 

INVITATION

for the submission of  bids for the purchase of the Hotel Aurora

 

Details of the hotel:

·            The Hotel Aurora is located in Podgora.

·            The net area of the facility comes to 5367.79 square metres.

·            The area of the grounds belonging to the facility comes to 4910.00 square metres.

·            Bids in the region of  3,200,000 marks are being looked for.  

 

1. All foreign and domestic legal and natural entities that according to the regulations of the Republic of Croatia currently in force are entitled to acquire the ownership of real estate in Croatia are entitled to make a bid.

2. Bids are to be delivered in a sealed envelope either in person or via the post to the following address:

   HOTELI PODGORA d.d., Podgora, Mrkusica dvori 2, marked Ponuda za kupnju hotela [Bid to purchase the hotel].  The final date by which bids can be submitted is the eighth day after the publication of this advertisement.

3. Bids must contain:

·            The name or trading name and the address of the bidder with an extract from the appropriate register.

·            The price bid and the manner of payment.

·            Evidence of the guarantee having been paid.

·            The bank account number in the event the guarantee is given back.

4. The bidder is bound to pay a guarantee in the amount of 200,000 marks according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank to the account of HOTELI PODGORA d.d., no. 34440-601-4447 marked “guarantee for the purchase of the hotel”.

5. The bidder is bound in its bid to state as a special condition the willingness to take on the obligation to pay 50% of the contractual price immediately the contract is signed, and the remainder of the contractual price when entering into possession of the facility.

6. The decision about which is the best bid will be made by the Board of Supervision of the company, which will pay particular attention to the price offered, the deadlines and the manner in which payment will be made.

7. The bidder whose bid is accepted is bound by 20 December 2001 at the latest to exchange final contracts on the purchase.

9. If the purchaser whose bid is accepted does not act in accord with the previous item of this advertisement, it will lose the right to purchase the facility and to have its guarantee returned.

10. The company reserves the right not to accept a single one of the bids arriving.

11. The public opening of the bids will be done in the headquarters of the company on the 15th day of November 2001 at 1100 hours.

12. The bidders will be informed in good time of the acceptance or rejection of their bids.

13. All additional information about the facility, the land register documentation and a review of the facility can be obtained every day between 0800 and 1300 hours at the headquarters of the company or on 021-625-222.
