January and February tourism statistics encouragingIn January and February 2019, the number of tourists visiting Croatia rose by 9% compared to the corresponding period in 2018, according to figures collected by the e-visitor system. In the first two months of this year, 485,000 holidaymakers visited Croatia making 1.3 million overnight stays, up 4% year on year. Foreign visitors made up 60% of all tourists. Their number rose by 11% to 297,000 and their overnight stays increased by 5% to 792,000. 11.03.2019. | News
​Luxury tourist resort T-Nest expected to open in autumnAn innovative environmentally-friendly tourist resort called T-Nest (Tesla's Nest), which is being built near Lovinac in the Lika region, is expected to be opened this autumn, it was announced earlier this week. The resort will boast 72 luxury accommodation units, including 42 canvas and 30 wooden villas situated by the side of a lake, in the wood or in treetops. They all will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
