180,000 guests visit Croatia during Easter weekendDuring the Easter weekend, as many as 179,513 tourists arrived in Croatia, generating 566,687 overnight stays, according to the figures collected by the eVisitor online tourist registration service. The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) said on Wednesday that the arrivals and overnight stays from 19 April (Friday) to 22 April (Monday) jumped by 80% and 90% compared to last year's Easter weekend which was from 30 March to 2 April. 24.04.2019. | News
Zagreb Tourism Board: Tourist season in Zagreb starts wellIn the first three months of 2019 the city of Zagreb registered 405,300 overnight stays, the most of all destinations in Croatia and an increase of 1% from the same period of 2017, Zagreb Tourism Board (TZGZ) head Martina Bienenfeld has said. The capital city is also recording positive trends in April and expects them to continue until the end of the year, Bienenfeld said. 22.04.2019. | News
​HTZ: 81 new flight services introduced for summer seasonEighty-one new Croatia-bound flight services from 24 markets around the globe have been added to the summer flight schedule, which lasts from 31 March to 27 October, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) says. The first week of this year's summer schedule registered a record high number of flights, 252, which is 30% more than in the first week of the last summer season. 20.04.2019. | News

Croatia and China open ambitious chapter in economic and trade relations​Croatia and China on Wednesday opened a new, ambitious chapter in their economic and trade relations, which their prime ministers described as "a fruitful milestone". Twenty-seven years since the two countries established diplomatic relations, China is ready to increase investment in the newest EU member state and open its market to more Croatian products, especially agricultural ones. Trade between the two countries is about a billion euros annually, and 250,000 Chinese tourists visited Croatia last year. 10.04.2019. | News
EUR 135 mn luxury resort to be built on island of Solta in next few yearsAn upmarket resort settlement is to be built in  Livka Bay on the island of Solta off Split until 2023, and this project which includes a five-tar hotel, is estimated at a billion kuna.
